GIS WebTech Partners with the University of Southern Mississippi

The GIS WebTech team is excited to announce our partnership with the University of Southern Mississippi’s graduate program in economic development!

USM’s graduate program is nationally recognized as a leader in economic development training and education, in particular for its focus on data and analytics. USM’s program is a natural fit with GIS WebTech’s advanced technology.

Under the partnership, USM graduate students in economic development, as well as those in business administration who take graduate courses in economic development, will utilize GIS WebTech’s Guru, the most advanced technology ever developed for economic development, in course modules covering online site selection and related areas. GIS WebTech is providing Guru to USM on a pro-bono basis and GIS WebTech senior staff will provide class instruction on the latest technology for economic development.

This week was our first class session with USM graduate students. The GIS WebTech team thoroughly enjoyed it, and we look forward to continuing to work with the USM program into the future!
