2018: Another Record Year

2018 was another year of rapid growth at GIS WebTech. No matter what metric you choose we are much bigger now than we were on January 1, continuing our growth trajectory of recent years. For example, the graphic to the right documents our growth in customer count over the last four years. As you probably guessed by looking at the chart, we are the fastest-growing provider of technology for economic development by a wide margin.

How did we get in this enviable position? Three things have made all the difference.

First, we have an incredible team of professionals. I have been fortunate to be in leadership roles in a variety of companies and I can say without hesitation this is the most dedicated team I have ever worked with. They are smart, hard-working, and committed to our clients.

Second, we are laser focused on technology leadership. When we launched Recruit 4.0, our flagship technology, we instantly leapfrogged the legacy technologies that had served the economic development market for years with little improvement or innovation. And we have built our company on a philosophy of continuous technology development, under which we launch new features every month. The result is an ever-widening gap between our technology and the legacy providers. Recruit 4.0 provides a combination of user experience, data quality and functionality that is simply unmatched in the market. 

Third, we are benefiting from rapid change in the way site selection is done. Businesses and site selectors now do most of their screening anonymously, using online data and tools. To compete and win, economic development organizations must offer the data and tools businesses are looking for, and no technology offers the rich combination of data and functionality that GIS WebTech’s Recruit 4.0 does.


In summary, we have the right technology and the right team in the right market.
