There are many reasons why we looked to other web based GIS solutions. Three of the top reasons are as follows. One, we wanted all stakeholders in a project to be able to provide the same highly accurate data. Secondly, we recognized that having presentation-quality demographics would give communities an edge they would otherwise not have. Thirdly, we needed a way to provide access to big data in a timely manner

Make Better Decisions with the Best Data
Data accuracy is critical. Site Selectors consider and evaluate many data variables about a location. Data about the types of people who live, work, and shop near a site is gold to potential business operators. To better assess the viability of business they need data to answer basic questions about the labor talent, wages, demographics, lifestyles, and spending habits of the population in an area.
The most accurate demographic data, proven by economists
Your decisions are only as good as the data behind them. Inaccurate data can adversely impact your decisions, actions and your bottom line.
Data Vendor Study

To prove the importance of accuracy, Esri commissioned a blind, independent study to provide an unbiased answer to data accuracy.

  • A complete study of the entire US at 4 geography levels was conducted by a team of independent economists who were well experienced in small-area forecasts and measures of forecast accuracy.
  • Data from each of 5 major data vendors, including Esri, was benchmarked against results from Census 2010. Identities of the other 4 vendors are not revealed.

Meaningful and Informative Reporting
  • Esri reports provide more depth, breadth, and built-in analytics than any other source.
  • Reports are professionally prepared and immediately ready for presentation
Informative Reporting

The integration between Esri and GIS WebTech and our accessibility to both allows us to run reports rapidly and deliver them quickly, confidently, and reliably. We save at least 50% of our report preparation time and are increasingly more productive now than ever

Report Features
  • Drive time from property
  • Line (distance buffer from drawn line, including the ability to have multiple vertices, buffer distance input as miles)
  • Polygon (report data will be of the enclosed area of drawn polygon)
  • Pin (ring or drive time)
Report Features
community search
Community Search
  • Search for communities with your state generating the same reports as Esri’s Business Analyst Online
  • Implementing Recruit and Business Analyst Online together ensures researchers and site selectors are utilizing and leveraging the same data eliminating questions of data inconsistency.
Drive Time Analysis
  • Easily generate a drive time from a property, or any point on the map. Generate a drive time up to 3 hours. This expanded drive time increases research capability for “Just in Time” inventory and manufacturing.

Ring Time Analysis

Research demographics by distance from the property up to 180 miles

Community Layers
Community Layers
  • Include community features of your choice to highlight. In fact, pick as many as you like. Since nearly all municipalities use ArcGIS Desktop to create and maintain GIS assets, a simple mouse click keeps those assets synced to our solutions.
  • Map layers are always up to date because we are synchronized with your communities official GIS sources.
